So the floors are going in. They are going to look spectacular. I can't wait to come back from our weekend trip to Bumpa and Te Te's house to see them with the stain. We are looking at goig with one of the two options on the bottom of the second photo. Maybe something inbetween as well.
As you can see, Isla, is far more interested in the camera's battery recharger than me. Oh well.
We are also looking at taking out the frosted window panes on the side of the house. It should bring in even more natural light. A
big plus. By the time the kids and Stephanie get back from Wisconsin, the floors should be done and the handrails installed. Then its the fun stuff. Cabinets, Granite, Backsplash, appliances, painting, etc...
It looks like the entire George clan will be at the cabin this weekend so it should be a weekend of the cousins having fun together, the siblings having lots of laughs and a tiring out of Bumpa and Te Te.
